Terms and Conditions

Here is a summary of our Terms and Conditions. We will go through our full Service Agreement at your free meet and greet appointment.

Fees and Charges

Our standard fee is £14 per visit, which covers up to two cats for up to 30 minutes (please enquire if you have more than two cats needing a visit). A 20p per mile charge also applies to visits that take place outside of Oakham or Barleythorpe.

Bank holidays are charged at double rate and seasonal surcharges are in place for the weeks up to and including Christmas and New Year.

We will charge you the amounts and for the period of time stated in our Service Agreement. You will pay us promptly for the services agreed, and payment is due at the time of booking. Any additional fees arising from emergency care or extra resources will be due upon your return.

You will pay any additional fees arising from the care of your pet, including emergency care, extra hours required to provide the care, and any extra resources needed to care for your pet.

Your pet's health

You are responsible for ensuring that your pet(s) is free from fleas and worms prior to our visits. You must also ensure that your pet's vaccinations, treatments and microchip are up to date, as required by law, prior to our visit.

Should your pet become unwell, you will be responsible for any and all medical expenses whilst your pet is in our care. You will also be responsible for covering the cost of any extra visits or time relating to the care of your injured or unwell pet.

Cancellations

If you cancel our services within 48 hours prior to our service's start date, you will be liable for the full booking cost. If a cancellation is made by you between 48 hours and 7 days prior to our service's start date, you will be liable for 50% of the booking costs.

If we cannot provide the services agreed or have to cancel, we will refund any fees paid under the Agreement and provide as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation.

Insurance

Purfect Cat Care shall ensure it has in place suitable public liability insurance relative to services offered to clients. You are responsible for adequate insurance of your pet(s) and property throughout the duration of our Service Agreement. You also accept full accountability for any event or damage occurring or arising from the behaviour of your pet.

Purfect Cat Care shall not be liable for the loss, injury or death or any actions or penalty arising from events related to pet(s) who are permitted unsupervised outdoor access.
